It will be 3 years tomorrow that he left and I felt crapy cos i couldnt afford to put a memorium thing in the paper so I'm putting it here. Dont have to read it I dont really care just wanted to put it out there.

I find it hard to believe you've really gone
Inside is a pain that continues to linger on
trying hard not to remember
thoughts of you fading away each day
a shadow of your former self
it shouldn't have been that way
Holding onto better thoughts
holding them so tight
moments loved, shared, hated and savoured
with those who miss you most
but more that missing memories
it's thoughts of what could have been
theres so much more you could have done
yours was to short a life
it's not fair your gone
I miss you.

I think it's great you shared that moving poem with us-
just because it's not in the paper doesn't mean you love/miss your bro any less

It is a very lovely poem. Just because it isn't in the paper it doesn't diminish the lovely words you have written and remembering your brother is the most important thing:hugs:

Thanks everyone, dont feel so bad about it now. Went to the beach where we scattered his ashes, not much but that's all I could do.

That is really lovely. I too, could not afford a notice in the paper either, but I don't need a newspaper to let her know I love and miss her.:hugs:

Maybe you could write it on some nice paper, burn it and scatter it where you scattered his ashes. Then it can find it's way to him.....:hugs:
