Just a quick question...

My DD fell out of her feeding high chair the other day and banged her head on the corner of the table. After pulling the heart out of my mouth and crying my eyes out (more than Layla!) I noticed a huge bruise. I checked for concussion etc and all was fine.

That was 2 weeks ago.

The bruise is now gone but there is a dent where she banged her noggin. I was wondering whether she has permanently damaged her head and skull? Or will the dent fill out again? It isn't massive or anything but everytime I see it I feel so awful and can't forget the event....

Any ideas??

I would be taking her to the doctor - it'll probably go away but I just always make the trek to the doc to make sure.
Good luck!

Hi Polony
It is always awful when your kids hurt themselves (and even worse to be reminded all the time :o ). I don't know about the dent healing and filling out, but would you feel better if you saw a doc to ask? I was just thinking that if you get confirmation from a doc that all is well (and they should also be able to tell you when it might start looking right) that you would not be reminded so much of the accident?

WDYT? Worth it or not?

Cheers

I'd be checking with the doc too, their little heads are so precious.
