Christmas lunch was spent with my family at a restaurant and afterwards we went to 'the bunker' as the in-laws is known.
Smother-in-law bought Jesse a snowman pinata to have a whack at and she filled it with little toys (yeah nice I know). There was a little water pistol in it so naturally when Jesse has set eyes on that he wanted it filled. He then proceeded to go around and give everyone a squirt with it who were sitting outside.
Princess (SIL) was lazing on a sun lounge (never lifts a finger!) and Jesse started on her. The Toad (SIL's husband) starts ranting, "She has a sore back, she has a sore back" to which I thought "well, she's big and ugly enough to speak for herself, surely!!!" he carried on and on as if this 4 year old was the size of a bloody sumo wrestler. Then the Princess flung Jesse off the sun lounge and he hit his back on the side of it. "Hah, that's what you get when you mess with me!" and she started laughing. Jesse looked as though he was winded and he started crying and ran to me - she had really hurt him...the "female canine"!!!
I grabbed him by the hand and said to her "He's four and you've really hurt him...I hope you're really proud of yourself you troll!" and then walked inside with Jesse. As we were walking up the steps DH's uncle chips in with, "Go on, have a sook" to Jesse. I turned around and gave him such a stare and said "knock it off".
When we got inside DH came up to me and asked what had happened. Straight away the smother-in-law was over to us and so I told them what had happened and added that I didn't think I'd have to protect Jesse from his own family.
Jesse then asked me why the Princess didn't say sorry for hurting him. I told him that was because she is very rude and doesn't have any manners. Jesse then said "It was only water mummy" to which I replied, "well, she probably thought she was going to melt!"
Urgggghhhhh...I HATE that family of his!!!!!

Just another thing....(nothing to do with the kids) I went to give DH's other uncle a kiss when we got there (you know how it's manners and all!) well I went up to him and he said, "oh no I've got a sore throat"...fair enough I thought, but later when other family arrived he didn't say the same thing to them...am I that repulsive!??? It wasn't going to be the highlight of my day to kiss him on the cheek I can tell you!!!

That's so awful! What a b*tch to do that to your son! You shouldn't have to put up with that from your family of all people!!

I hope that Jesse wasn't too hurt and that he drenched Princess. Maybe a suggestion of grabbing a bucket of water wouldn't have hurt?! Haha!

hi carly and polony - can you do me a favour and go back and edit your language to stick an asterisk (*) in B*tch - the moderators for this section are away and it would be nice to clean up the language without one of them having to do it when they get back?
Thanks. (we are all adults and use the language but we try to keep the forum free of it where possible.)

(By the way - I do agree that your SIL sounds like a nasty piece of work!)

You poor thing. Its no wonder alot of people dread Xmas when you have to do family get togethers!!!!!

Me...Ive given up and try my hardest to avoid them like the plauge....I hope that it gets better! Your SIL sounds like a real cow, and its rotten that the rest of the family take her side. :(

Its rotten when they all play favorites...try not to let it get to you..most likely they are just jealous of your and DH's relationship and lovely family! XXOO

Keep your chin up sweetie!

What a dumb ar$e cow. I think you were very restrained. What sort of low life picks on a little kid? And then to laugh about it. And I HATE it when a little kid is crying and needs their mummy and someone calls them a sook - well pardon me but I'm sure you used to cry for your mummy too, and if not don't take out your issues with lack of affection from your mum on my son - see a therapist you nasty piece of work. Ooooohhhhh people like that get me so riled up!!!!!!!

Give Jesse a hug from Oscar and a big rub on his little back :(

Next year I'd buy him a super soaker if I were you :p

I always wondered were the Wicked Witch of the East moved too! You poor thing Carlyb. I think given the circumstances strangulation would be within reason :p ;)

Hi carlyb

Thank you so much you just made my day, you've given me some great ideas for nicknames for my "outlaws":D :D Hope you dont mind but I think you may just have saved my life I'm going to secretly name them all and when they annoy me I'll just think there goes the old smother in law again and it will give me a secret laugh!!!

Thank you and grrrrrrrr to nasty relatives, I think jealousy has an awful lot to blame when rellies are nasty.

Take it easy

Poor Jesse, I hope he was Ok.

Is it wrong for me to strangle your relative??

(((Big hugs for Carly & Jesse)))

Big poos on the head of the princess & the toad. May their toast always fall butter side down, and their coffee be weak.

{{Big hugs to Carly & Jesse!}}

I hope Jesse's Xmas wasn't ruined by these nasty people. I would have grabbed a bucket myself and drenched the prissy b**ch!!:p

I assume 'Princess' doesn't have children of her own?

The whole lot of them sound very bitter and twisted. They will get theirs sweetie, don't you worry!;)
