I know most of the time after 12 weeks your morning sickness passes but i am soo over dry reaching that much that i am nearly sick! With DD2 i had constant headaches but i didnt know i was pregnant till i was 24 weeks so i didnt really take notice of the sickness, from memory i wasnt sick at all! My first pregnancy i was sick for 8 weeks, with ds i was sick the entire pregnancy!
Its driving me mad, i have shocking headaches still, i dry reach over anything and have silly coughing fits nearly making myself sick....although thankfully i am not sick! I am craving salt...if i feel off or queezy i sprinkle some on my hand and feel better half hour later...or i am living off tomato and salt and black pepper sandwiches (i usually hate tomato) My bloods are ok although my iron is shocking when i am pregnant and i am taking vitamin suppliments as well!
Anyone got any ideas, i feel so tired, i am over dry reaching (poor dd2 copies me nearly making herself sick) and why the heck am i craving salt!! I hate the stuff!! I thought his would have passed now thats all i guess :)
Ohh and my boobs are huge, they are so damn sore, i look like i have had implants LOL i am tiny but have gone up from a b cup to a d cup, my sister doesnt know i am pregnant yet and she asked if i had a boob job
anyone else finding this? any ideas would be much appreciated :) Maybe its just me and i have forgotten what being pregnant is like :(

My DW has been real sick too, and nothing seems to have made a difference. Had one trip to hospital for a session on a drip early on as she was dehydrated, although she is slightly better now, only sick several times a day, poor thing. Her last baby she was sick the whole pregnancy too, she said.
She looks great though, and very healthy. We tell ourselves being sick is a sign that baby is doing well down there. We get all worried when she isn't sick now.
Hasnt helped I know, but at least you know you are not the only one feeling awful and unable to do anything about it.

Well I can sympathise. I have been very sick with m/s for weeks now. I have actually been :barf: though, every single day! Its horrible. I get the dry reaching all day too. Anything that looks gross or smells gross or if I think about something gross I start dry reaching. They say it should ease off about 12 weeks but I have been talking to heaps of people about m/s and most of them say more like 14 weeks. I had it longer with DS so I am hoping this time it doesnt last as long. I got my :fingerscrossed: for 14 weeks!
Not much advice I can give ya bout the dry reaching, I got some advice on :barf: but thats not really relevant coz you havent been throwing up so I say just be strong, you will get through it.
As for the boobs, not sure what to say there either. Mine have gone from a B to a C but they aint sore anymore. Maybe try massaging them, apparently that is sposed to help...
I dont know if I have been much help but Good Luck!

Thanks Pebbles...i know how lucky i am with the throwing up not happening as i had that the entire pregnancy with DS.
I guess i am sick of walking out the door and thinking i cant go i will be sick...maybe its a little bit of anxiety as well that makes me feel worse!
I am sure it will pass its just that i feel so different this time around :) I will let it ride out more and maybe see about getting a boob reduction in the mean time haha they are killing me, its like they are on fire for some reason

Hi,
I'm nearly 14 weeks and in the same boat too! I spent 6-12weeks vomiting non-stop, and was in hospital three times for deydration. Then it stopped for a week, then it's come back....only without the actual vomiting part! I just feel really headachy, TIRED, and nauseous/refluxy.
Everyone keeps telling me so many different things; it will stop at 12 weeks, no 14 weeks, mine went to 16 weeks, mine lasted the whole pregnancy, I didn't get any sickness at all...(I HATE it when someone says the last comment!) so I don't know what to expect really!!
I sympathise wholeheartedly with you, poor thing. It's really awful isn't it?:hugs:

P.s
Yesterday, I ventured out by myself to buy some vegies from our local market. I decided to have 20 mins of a neck/shoulder rub, as they were really tight form all the weeks of being sick.
THEN I JUST BLACKED OUT! Right in front of all these people at the end of my massage. I hadn't even stood up!! I had a lovely Chinese lady shove a lolly into my mouth, whack this smelly bottle under my nose, and then half carry me to another chair. I spent the next 40 mins shaking and waiting for my partner and nan to come and pick me up cause I couldn't drive my car home.... How completely embaressing.
It actually really scared me; I had no warning it was coming. Now I feel like I can't go anywhere for fear of it happening again. "Only supervised outings from now on" :shame:
Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had m/s for 20 weeks with my previous two pregnancies and have mostly dry retching this time, I find some days the seabands can help (so long as it's just nausea for me)
I'm now 13weeks and have a UTI which does not help matters at all though with antibitoics my symptoms seem to be easing off a bit so fingers crossed I may be m/s free soon. if you're feeling really yuck you could try asking about a B6 shot as it's a natural thing and lasts several days.
Jo- wow you sound a bit dehydrated. Poor thing I hope you're ok! I also found my blood sugar level could drop quickly (seeing as even though I ate frequently with my 1st pregnancy I rarely kept anything down didn't help me) some days so I would have something sugary with me. (Solo or similar would help me) and keep up your water but don't over drink at the same time as your eletrolytes can become unbalanced. Also could be low blood pressure but then again after a massage you need to drink lots of water and take it easy. ETA: I nearly passed out several times myself during my previous pregnancies.

Jo - just wanted to note to be careful with massages. Dont have deep tissue ones (the ones where they push hard and that can hurt) because they release toxins into your blood... i was told by my massage lady to avoid these anyway.
I have been really lucky (sorry) with MS. Have not had it really bad but have found once I hit 12/13 weeks (when it is supposed to get better) I have started to get headaches and feel lightheaded. Have had a headache on and off almost every day to some degree. (and I normally, pre pregnancy anyway, never get headaches)

My nausea started to get better at around 12wks but the dry retching got slightly worse. Sometimes it's a smell that triggers it and sometimes it's for no apparent reason. Also, at 12wks the headaches kicked in. They will arrive and disappear quickly on occasion, and other times will hang around for a day or so. And now i've started getting an aching lower back as well. Especially after sitting in my seat at work all day. Bring on maternity leave!
