Make the fleece at the legs roll in?

I'm going to get stuck into my sewing this weekend - I don't care if I have visitors:laughing:

I'm going to make some fleece pockets, and some AIOs too if the pockets go well, and I love how the fleece rolls in at the legs of my HBs.

So, any tips on how to achieve this?

And, whilst all of you sewing experts are sharing your knoweldge - what do you find is the best way to sew your leg elastic in?

Do you sew the whole piece of elastic down, or do you just tack both ends down? I'm interested in who thinks what works better.

Thanks girls:thumbsup: :yelclap: Where would I be without you all?!

It's kinda tricky and you might have to buy the HB pattern to work it out. Otherwise try googling HoneyBoy! Pocket, you might find instructions on sewing a pocket nappy with rolled in leg casings ;) ;)

Hhhmm...might have to buy the HB pattern hey? I needed a good reason to buy something seeing as I'm totally banned from buying any more nappies for life and this might just be it!

I think if you sew the elastic all the way along, onto the fleece part, it can encourage it to roll in

But generally on my AIO's (all two of them I've made  ) I don't sew the elastic the whole way along (I find it a bit tricky :o) so I just sew the ends, then when it's the right way out, sew along the other side so the elastic can't make it's way into the midde of the nappy, iykwim.

Thanks phineas. I'll just have to trial a few different ways this weekend I guess, and see what works best for me!

Emma, if I don't have any luck between now and when we move down there, I'll be knocking on your door for a sewing tutorial!
