This could be a really stupid question but I am going to ask anyway. I have sewn pockets already. but when sewing a fitted or AIO I want to sew inside out, then turn it right way in IYKWIM. So that I dont have the raw edges. How do I do it? The way i did it last time was to cut along where the velcro was going on the front then flip it in the right way. but sewing through all layers wasn't good......took two needles to do it:o
TIA

Don't quite follow what you mean by cutting it along where the velcro goes.

I just sew around and leave an opening and turn through that.

yep for an AIO or fitted i leave the opening on the tummy, turn it in the right way then top stitch

I use velcro across the front of the nappy. So I cut through the top layer of the nappy. turn it right way in then sew the velcro over the top of the cut in material. But I think the top stitching sounds easier.
