For those of you having no.2, 3, 4, or 5 ;)
The last month or so DD (13 months) has been extremely affectionate. Valentine She is quick to cuddle me or DH but especially me. I mentioned this to a friend of mine who said she had the same thing happen with her first when she was pregnant. Her ob said that babies can sense the pregnancy hormones and are really attracted to it and want more cuddles. I'm just hoping it's not a phase. DH and I want cuddles cuddles cuddles!!
Is anyone else experiencing more affection from their other children??

OH NO... mine has turned absolutely feral, :crying: mind you hes nearly 2.5 so that might be the reason, not to mention I'm working and absolutely buggered most of the time.
Make the most of cuddles they are the best arent they.. :smiliedance:

Oh no!! That's awful! You poor thing. It must be the age thing.
I forgot to mention. The bloody cat keeps bugging me for cuddles too. Definitely not happy to cuddle DH. She did that when I was preg with DD too.

 Yes my DD is wanting lots and lots of cuddles at the moment.
I went out by myself, last night and she started crying as soon as I walked for the door. She was only ok when DH was giving her a cuddle. Very clingly to us both.

My dd is te most un cuddly baby ever  she is 13 months and now only sometimes will she walk over and give me a cuddle but she wont do it to DH just me! I find if I've had morning sickness she is extra clingy to me but for the most part because DH has been home more often lately she is really clingy to him!
Theyre odd little people arent they

 yes absolutely!!! how weird, DD was never really a cuddler, until i had to go to hospital with last bub, since then she never wants me to leave without a kiss and cuddle. Also whenever she wants something she says cuddle and makes me carry her to what she wants my poor shoulders ache from lifting her hehe

The friend who told me about this had had a miscarriage. So naturally she was worried when she became preg a few months later.
When the ob saw her with the next pregnancy and watched her DS being so affectionate in the office he said, "I don't need to run any tests, clearly the baby is doing fine, your DS is cuddly which means you have a good amount of hormone." Weird isn't it??
Anyone else noticing it with pets too?? My cat won't leave me alone!!

DS is really affectionate atm and because he's that much older he understands when i have to lie down and rest for 1/2 or so. He's always asking me if I'm sick so he's being really sweet atm!

Aliyah has been very affectionate, she always loves her cuddles, but has gone from being daddy's girl to a real mummy's girl lately! It's adorable when I tell her I can't play or do something as I'm feeling sick, she comes over and rubs my back or my head and says "You feeling sick? It's ok Mummy!" Awwwwww!
My DD has been such a mummy's girl. Getting so frustrated with her though :( When we go out she refuses to walk, or go in the sling, or the stroller. She wants me to carry her & with the threat of bleeding, they dont want me carrying her around all the time :(
I am loving the cuddles on the lounge though, good when I want to rest

aaaaawwww how cute are all these toddlers!!! Valentine
Sophie has just started getting upset when one of us goes out the door, saying goodbye - usually daddy. Soooo sweet.
My cat is still bugging me so much for cuddles she's just driving me crazy!
MrsX: as long as you're getting all the extra cuddles you've got lots of hormone and bubs is doing great.
