A toy library???

And can you donate toys to a toy lbrary we have sooo many toys here to get rid of most never even used fro these spoilt children.,:o

But I know the only way to cure my toy buying addiction would be to get lots of diffeent things that can be taken back..

If you live near a children's hospital perhaps you could donate to them, or even a special school if you have one near by. Just a thought.

I am a member of Playgroup Australia and just went to my local toy library (through P.A) today for the first time.

the one i went to here had a range of great toys (no books or soft toys... that i could see) that were broken down into categories like sensory play, water play, sand play, pretend play, outdoor toys etc They had train sets, slides, a lot of the bigger Little Tikes toys (we got the tool set and workshop from L.Tikes today), cubby house, doll accessories (high chair, cot, stroller etc by L.Tikes).

things that can be cleaned easily as you need to clean everything before you return it. so i bet they would love to receive trikes, doll strollers, sand and water toys, big tonka trucks etc anything substantial that many families might not purchase (or want to try before they buy)

you could contact the playgroup association where you are or do a search for toy libraries (i know when we lived in sydney they were independently run) HTH
