Hey there...yes, they will send you a letter...I cant remember exactly when but I htink they do the ballot aorund 16 weeksof pregnancy...it was quite a bit after that that I received my acceptances both times....I think both times I actually ended up ringing and fiding out because I was too impatient! lol

Good luck!:fingerscrossed:

I got my referal sent in late, after 16 weeks as i didnt know i was eliglble to even apply. They told me to get it in ASAP as i had a really good chance of getting a spot. Anyway i found out about the 20 week mark with a phone call asking if i was still interested ...hell yes! They then sent me out the forms i had to fill in. Im not sure as to whether they let you know if you dont get in though..good question?

I called and sent all the paper work in, at the beginning of November, before the ballot was drawn on the 16th December, then I got a letter a week later.

I wish I had gone up the the Birth Centre earlier, just so i knew what it was like before I got there. I had my first midwife appointment at 18weeks, which was very early apparently.

Even though it is the Birth Centre I would suggest a Doula, that way you have the extra continuity of care

The water aqua classes are great there too, you need to get the paper work in early.

Active birth yoga is great.

You just have to go to your GP and get them to fax one:)
