I'm wanting to buy a wet bag soon to use for my flats and MCN when we eventually buy them and I wanted to know which ones people use and which they recommend? Soo many out there.. wanted to get some feedback first before I buy.

Thanks!

I have a jam tots zippered wetbag - its great. You can snap it to itself so it can go around the handle of the nappy bag. Very handy and a great size.

I have a Tots Bots one, toggle tie on cord:yes:

Never had a leak or a smell! And left it at work for 3 days in hallway (with pooey nappy festering inside:(), and nobody noticed it, let alone smelt it!!

Bummis here, but not so sure about the toggle part, I should have gotten a zipper one, I think :detective:

I went to kmart the other day, and got a wetbag with a zipper on it, for my daughter to go swimming, it was in the stationary section, all plastic, wonder if that would work...

I have 2 sew it yourself kits that I never got around to sewing. Its basically a piece of PUL and a piece of elastic. I guess you just sew it up with a pull tie.

If you are interested PM me :)

Thank you to everyone for your input, I'm really appreciating it..

Hrmm.. I've been doing some hunting and I really think that I prefer the idea of a zipper wetbag, cos I'll only want to put about 4/5 nappies in it at a time MAX and I'd like to to be able to store the wetbag either in my nappybag or clip it onto a pram..

I've heard good things about the wahmies wetbags and also the ones at baby soft landings (3 in 1 I think?).. but I can't find where to get the wahmies one from. Does anyone know?

Sorry to semi-hijack but...

I'm on the hunt for a wet bag also. I wondered what would happen if you just got a large sealable sandwich bag. My nappies will only be in the bag for a day at most. Will the nappies mould. Will the sandwich bag not hold the smell?

In short why do I need a PUL bag?

I made mine myself

Why use PUL? Well basically so you can wash it like you wash your nappies. I chuck mine in the wash with my nappies because after you've had dirty nappies in it, it stinks!!

There is no point using bags that you can't reuse if you are using reusable nappies. But before I had my wetbag I used plastic bags that were in my cuboard from the times that I forgot my greenbags :o :p :D

HoopDeeDoo hits the nail on the head !

With a PUL wetbag you can wash it with your nappies whereas just using a plastic bag will mean having to throw it out.

A plastic bag also doesnt breath & even though you say you will be washing frequently it is amazing how quickly mould can appear ! Its also really hard to get out of the nappy once its there !

Thanks everyone for your input..

Does anyone have a wetbag from bubblebubs? They're made from PUL, zippered and really reasonably priced..
