My doc said it's just chicken pox, and since DD already had it last year, doesn't need the vax. I thought there would be other stuff in it too:confused:

We got $227 in the bank from Aust Gov. Maternity payment, is that the payment that you're meant to get when immunisations are up to date?

well that sucks:banghead: we just can't trust that doctor!! We are re-considering the whole vax thing anyway, but that sounds like an important one... still not sure what to do

oh, so that's what that magnet is for:laughing: I see it everyday without ever reading it:rolleyes:

Yeah, not sure what that means, we might have to see another doc for another opinion

If you got your payment (sounds like you did) then according to the government schedule, your girl is up to date

In her blue book (or whatever colour it is in your state.. the baby health book thingo) it should have a complete record of every vaccination given, the name and the batch number, the dosage and the place given (arm/thigh/oral). There should also be information about the actual schedule. Some of the vax's have only been introduced in the last couple of years, which means some babies missed out on getting their 2 month shot of that one, so they need another booster at 18 months - whereas your daughter obviously got her full course of pneumococcal vax already.

Confusing, ain't it :D

thanks Queen, OK, so sounds like DD is done until she's 4! Now we have to start researching whether we want to do it for DS...we didn't really look into it last time, but after talking to some non-vaxers lately we have doubts.
