We just did a cutting/pasting collage.
I cut pictures out of the junk mail and she glues it onto a big piece of paper and adds some crayon scribbling LOL.
We made a plaster mould of Tom's hand, made choc fudge brownies (Tom did the stirring, he loves to cook!), chased each other around the house for a while, played with his thomas the tank engine duplo set, then weeded the garden together. Tom just pulls everything out, good thing most of whats there is weeds!
Off to vacuume, better pull out his toy dyson so he leaves mummy's vacuume alone!

Well we were at SIL's most of the day, Hayley and my nephew (both 2 and a half) played outside in the dirt  then we got home at about 4pm and Hayley had a nap for about an hour and a half, while I packed a few boxes (we are moving on the weekend) then Grant came home and Hayley woke up and just played a bit. Just a very lazy day today, might be a bit structured tomorrow. Last night I cut out some old material from clothes and Hayley pasted them onto some paper and made a nice little picture.

OOOh old material is a good idea for glueing I have a huge bag of rags that could get cut up:thumbsup:
ATM Azalea is in the kitche with a pot of warm water, a little bit of milk, sugar & some tea bags 'making tea':)
Not much so far this morn but yesterday we made a boat out of a box for Jayce to cruise around the house in and we made some binnocular things.
We are making a cake later and having a picnic with Daddy at 11am (on lunch break).
We are going to collect natural things on a walk by the beach for craft. We make funny creatures (i do the supergluing) out of all the things we find.

Did a big pasting collage with all the foil, wrapping and ribbons from easter.
Now he's watching playschool and we will get stuck into making dinner soon.

Before my newborn arrived a typical day with my 2 year old would be:
Watch kids TV till 9;30am while I do all the housework.
Make a morning tea snack at 10:00am.
Go outside and kick the ball around, look at dandelions, pick up leaves, look at planes etc...
Go to the park and have a good exercise.
Then lunch, storytime and nap.
After nap she would usually play with her chalk and blackboard, or with a bucket of water and a pastry brush and "paint" outside on the verandah.
Now that the newborn is here time is really short and I am lucky to do one constructive thing a day with my poor 2 year old. Hopefully this will change soon.
we ran around the garden kicking the soccor ball
put on some music and danced up a storm
went and saw his nanna and poppy

Didn't do that much today, but had a little kick of the soccer ball this morning, kids played in the cubby house and sandpit. The kids went to Nanny's this afternoon while Mummy had her daily walk for 45 mins(quiet time).:D
