Just started knitting my first soaker following the Tiny Birds Organics pattern. I have only done my tension swatch so far but just want to check if I am counting the rows correctly.
Do you count a pair of Knit and Purl rows as 1 row? Or is every single row (whether it's a knit or purl) separately?
The reason I'm asking is because when you look at the pictures on the site, there's one that says "after row 38, it should look like this..." with a picture. Now it looks a lot more than 38 rows to me....
I'm really struggling with this row counting business! Please can anyone help me? :detective:

Every row is counted. Are you doing stocking stitch? If you look at the back of the fabric, count every loop IYKWIM as one row (on the right side of the fabric, every V is counted). Sometimes I find it easier to count using the back of the fabric.
