can never get a positive result on opk

I used opks last month from cd 9 to cd 20, the same this month. I have never received a positive result. anyone else had this?
last month the day i assumed i was ovulating i must have as af showed up two weeks to that day. I am using ovunow.

Lots of women here have a "short surge" (including me!) If I had not tested twice a day, I would have missed my Surge. (and did for several months, was POAS all blooming cycle and not one + OPK, but after watching other fertile signs like Mucus, and chartign for a while, I OPK'd twice a day from CD 8 to CD 11 On CD 9 I got a +!! at 12pm, but it was - again by 5pm (my next testing time)

A friend of mine tried using OPKs and according to them she never ovulates. Her 3 kids are proof otherwise! :)

i am having that problem now.....i have been put on clomid but i am feeling a few tiny stabbing pains at my overies, but still get a -result.....

does a weak surge mean less chance of getting preggers?
I am using ovunow and just started lullaby conception. they at least give me two lines even tho its neg

Oh belles!! Its great that the other brand give u two lines, even if they are not +!!!!!

A weak surge alone will not make getting Preg harder, but may make it harder to determine exactley when you O. have you ever temped?? Only asking, cause it is a great sign if you get the temp rise for part of your cycle. At least confirms O, so you can get an idea, Like for me, 2 lines not + meant I was gearing up to O!! I would get that, then a + next day, then temp rise next day. Still took us a while, but gave us a way better idea of when to BD.

A CD 22 Bloodtest will tell you for sure if you ovulated.

Thanks em! I have a dr's appt on Friday so I will ask her. I have a feeling we may have missed it this month cause the day i predicted i ovulated we didnt bd! we were too tired.doh!
