how long does it last again?? She is attaching properly, though I do have some blisters. Am using lansinoh after every feed, this bub is a trooper, she is the first one of my kids to start feeding straight away, and pretty much spend the first 24 hrs on my boob.

So how long does it take for that initial 20 second toe curling pain to stop?

I think for me it took about 10 days??

So glad to hear your wee baby is feeding so well!! And I hope your nipples toughen up very very soon!! Don't forget to rub some bm into them!:)

(Congrats again...:D )

Umm, a week or two I think... :hugs:

Makes me laugh (now!) at all those people who say "Oh if it hurts, you're doing it wrong!"

HA!! Yeah, if you've spent the last year of your life with your boobs hanging out with clothes pegs attached to your nipples!!

:smiliedance: Congrats to you, and it should clear up around 12-14days or less.

For me, once the grazes healed (from a couple of bad attachments in the middle of the night)... It really is toe curling isn't it? I would count out loud through it, it helped me cope!!

Congrats by the way!

Took about 2 weeks for the pain to completely disappear! Although it became less and less during this time! Glad to hear she is feeding well! What a cutie! Can't wait to see some pics of her (hint hint ;) )

Oh, I was wondering the same thing!

My munckin is 11 days and is feeding really well, but it still hurts - toe curling is a great description!! I have tried counting and it does seem to help, but I am really hoping it stops soon!!!

yesterday was a bit better, then this morning, found more cracks, and more pain, seems like one step forward, two back... but am perservering, tried feeding her lying down today, seems to be a bit better.
