Best Pocket-Nappy stuffers!

I'm not too clued in to the world of MCNs just yet (I'm getting there), and at the moment, I'm just collecting a few different brands to test the waters.

Anyway, I've decided to try to some pockets and some AIOs. At the moment, I've only got some pockets, but I have more pockets and some AIOs on the way.

ANYWAY...

I was looking at the pocket nappies I've ordered (should arrive this week) and was seeing if I'd ordered any inserts or anything for them. I think one came with a hemp one, and for the other I Just ordered some microfibre thing.

After messing around with a few pockets for the past week, I've realised that microfibre alone won't do jack-sprat, so I ordered a few inserty things (can't remember what on earth I ordered btw...lol).

I've read you can buy cheap microfibre cleaning cloths, so I'm interested in doing that... but what about for better absorbtion?

I'm happy to buy PROPER nappy products, or do it the DIY way of using terry flats or whatever...

But what REALLY works best? I figure hemp/bamboo are betty than cotton/flannelette/terry towelling?

I just don't KNOW and I know that I'll need SOMETHING to stuff my pockets with... and I think I'll have enough for now...

But still - WHAT WORKS BEST FOR STUFFING POCKETS?!

I like a hemp flat or prefold with a layer of microfibre (like a cleaning cloth) on top of the hemp. The microfibre absorbs the liquid quickly, but then slowly seeps it out into the hemp. I wouldn't waste bamboo in a pocket! It is so soft, it should be against the skin, lol.

I really like Hemparoos :yes:

They are a hemp square of two layers, but and extra layer down the middle, so when you fold it across that, you will have 6 layers of hemp under bub, and 9 layers right in the centre where the need it.

And they come in large which is really big!
You can get them at a few places but the only one I can remember at the moment is Green Kids.

Hemparoos are hemp prefolds :thumbsup: I like them too!

Hmmm... Hemparoos! Had a look and might consider some in the future (just spent a bit in one hit... gonna wait at least a few more days before blowing more moolah on nappies! lol).
