Hi everyone - need some advice. JD is the best baby in the world and never fusses or whinges. Now suddenly he screams and/or shrieks, he's dribbling, his cheeks are rosy red, he sucks on his fist and even the boob sometimes makes him gag. He's only 9 weeks old - do you think he could be teething? I've not taken him to the doctor, nor have I run my finger over his gums. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Babies can be born with teeth, so they can begin teething any time at all.
FTR - my son showed classic teething signs for about 2 or 3 months, before anything actually popped through, but for some babies it just happens really quickly... they are all different I guess! :D

My first son cut his first tooth at 15 weeks old, and my second son cut his first tooth at 14 weeks old. So yes it is possible that he is teething.
Good luck and let us know what happens.
