How many cloth nappies do you need?

How many cloth nappies do you need? I don't want to be washing everyday! How many do most people have and often do you wash them?

Depends on how often you want to wash?
6-8 nappies per day so 12-16 if you want to wash every day (ie one day drying and one days worth in use) around 24 is ideal if you want to wash every 2nd to 3rd day

I have 2 dozen per child and wash every 3rd or 4th day.

I have 18 and finding i'm washing every second day. Although it does depend on how many times she poos!

I think around 25 is an ideal number - even if the last few are just el cheapos for emergencies :thumbsup:

I have about 25 and wash every 2-3 days... I have flats extra though, in case it rains and takes longer for the mcn's to dry :thumbsup:

I have two in cloth and 23 nappies...
I'm washing every day and still running out every so often- but I have terry flat's as a back up :yes:

I better stock up a little bit- or I'm going to run into trouble this winter with no dryer!

I have about 40 for two - not really sure, guess I should count. :p I wash every second day.

They can't share any except Baby Beehinds, even then the Bamboo are getting a bit tight on my chunka dunk toddler.

So 20 would probably do you nicely for washing every couple of days, but 25 would be better

It's recommended to have about 24 if you want to wash every 2nd day.

I have about 20 and wash maybe every 2nd day, but then I wash nappies in with other loads of clothes so I never seem to run out of nappies.

I wash every second day.
We have plenty of fitteds and woollies :o more than enough. Plus flats which are great.
