Dentist time

I took my 4yr old to the dentist today because on the odd occassion he says his tooth is saw + the other day i saw his back tooth which looked a bit black. Anyway he was soo good at the denstist though he needs to have his back moler taken out as it is decayed and broken away a bit. Well i think he said half. I have no other choice. I feel so bad, like it's all my fault. Has anyone else had dental issues with there little ones?

Oh your poor little man. Don't feel bad, I read an article the other day that some people no matter how much they try to take care of their teeth, they are still prone to decay!

Thanks oscars mum for trying to make me feel better, i still see it as all my fault. He eats crap i know which is my fault but he eats a lot of fruit, i suppose that contains surgar. I brush his teeth all the time. I feel so stupid and like a failure. I suppose i am not the only mother out there that has had this happen to their child.

My ds broke his front tooth in half when he was 9 months old!!! To this day I still have no idea how!!! I think it may have been a weak tooth to begin with but anyway... it's not a great look:o but at least they get a replacement one....... eventually:rolleyes:
