i want to make some AIO's but i dont know if i should use maiden mills fleece or PUL the outer would be an old pair of jeans with the pocket part on the bum so they have a denim look :D i was thinking of having bamboo on the inner so they can be nice and fancy:laughing: any ideas?

What zada said! You will have major potential for wicking problems though with denim.... I've seen some people suggest binding the inner seam (between the PUL and outer) with fleece. I haven't tried it, but would highly recommend you do something of the kind. Maybe you could even bind with PUL - that should work :)

Go with the PUL, Denim's pretty thick, so if you used fleece it would probably be a bit bulky. And you may have wicking issues, but really only if you leave it on to long, if you change when wet, you shouldn't have any issues :) Can't wait to see a pic

No idea but what an awesome idea!!! Might have to try it myself :D

So are you ladies saying that even with a hidden layer of PUL, the denim outer will probably still get dampish?

 Just a suggestion here, but I was thinking you could make the nappy outer from PUL and then sew the pocket of the jeans on the butt of the nappy for a cute effect:yes:

I just know that I made my first pockets with a hidden layer of PUL and an outer of cotton and they wick pretty badly - that's why I don't make them that way anymore. I still put them on my DD until she TTed but they would get wet on the outside much quicker than the other nappies - my DH jokes that on those nappies the outer is better at soaking up wee than the hemp inside  :p

I think if you bound the inside seam with PUL scraps it would be ok though - maybe I should do that with those nappies and see how it goes. :)
