I am so happy
My DP's son has just moved in with us.
He is 9yrs old and has been in foster care up until now due to his incompetent "mother".
And as DP had not been involved with his son's life until I encouraged it soon after we got together he was not around him much.
Last year we were approached to have DSS but as it was only 4mths after losing my DS I was not in the position to even think about it.
We have been having DSS on a regular basis for a couple of months now and the case worker of Child and Family Services was working with us to have DSS move in full time.
It happened a bit quicker than first planned but we dont care as my DSS is now so so happy to finally be able to call our house his HOME.
My other children are just wrapped as well.

I just hope it is fairly smooth sailing for him now.
He is looking forward to starting at the same school as my children after the easter break too.
