Roxy is 2weeks now and she has started snacking then having bout an hour and a half sleep at night..and today she is waking more and having a quick snack and then back to sleep rather than a longer feed and more sleep. Can i do anything about this or should i just go with it??
ETA She will sleep from about 8 till 12-1am so i know she can do the longer stretch...

Just go with it

It can be hard in the early days with lack of sleep. I know DS would wake 8/10 times a night. He still wakes about 4/5 times a night at 9 months.

You might like to try co-sleeping or having a basinette next to your bed so feeds are easier at night.

Just try to rest as much as possible, feed on demand and dont stress about routines, it will all just fall into place, and its only early days yet.

Sounds like you are doing a great job! :yelclap:

ETA: She may be having a growth spurt, common at 2 weeks. She needs to feed a lot to increase your supply.

Amelia was a very snacky feeder in the first few weeks. Little and very often. It is really tiring I know but stick with it and I bet she will settle in a few days or weeks to longer gaps in feeds.

Amelia is now 6 mths and still feeding well. Some days there are long gaps and I have a couple of rockmelons, others it feels like she is on all day!!

There is no real answer when they are so tiny either as it is on demand.

She is beautiful by the way. Well done!

:hugs:

Yep I would just go with it too. Lack of sleep is normal in the first few weeks because bubs isn't really into a routine or anything like that, they basically just do what they want iukwim. The older they get the longer they should sleep though. I hope you get a good rest soon though hun, I know how hard it can be :hugs:
