I want it so badly, but it is a gorgeous "Daddy's Little Helper" applique.... and in my sole parent household, it's not really suitable  *ahem* also I have sooo many nappies... :shame: :D

That's so cute:yes:

These nappy makers should make ones for mums too.

Also, some for the single mums that say something like "If you think I'm cute you should see my mum":D

I've seen that written on a t-shirt somewhere and thought it was pretty cool.

LMAO at Queenie talking herself outta trouble

I'd bid if the birth order of my children was reversed and Ariene was the toddler about to TT and Ronan was the baby I was buying nappies for

Bit boyish for my girly-girl!

Yep, bit cute! Too small tho for my DS.

Bit sad HB's are going for so much on eBay, I saw one on there a few weeks ago that hit $55 8 hours before the end of the auction!

Made me think twice about my new HB that is too big. "If I sell it on eBay, I could make $20 profit, and buy more nappies":laughing::laughing:

Ooh but people pay re****erous prices for eBay items. Funny, obviously they don't know buyena!

I bought one from Wahmania for $49 it has an embroidered ladybug on the back.

Do you think I got ripped off?

I thought the embroidered ones cost around that much:confused:

Just for clarification ladies, it depends on the applique design what you will pay. Some appliques have stacks of stitches, so you will pay more for those than a more simple applique.

Embroidered nappies here in Australia, start around the $40 mark. Remembering that standard HoneyBoys are around $30.

If anyone has concerns, feel free to email me, and I'll explain in full.

Cheers

I would also expect to pay more for an appliqued nappy than I would for a machine embroidered one; lining up all those little bits of fabric for the applique and trimming the fabric after each tiny piece is sewn takes a lot of time, much more than it does to change the thread colours for machine embroidered designs. And hand embroidery, I mean true crewel type embroidery, not just a few stitches of embellishment, is going to be worth even more.
