Hi Hi..

I've been using disposables for 3 months now i've decided to start using cloth nappies
i've read the sticky and so far it seems like the AIO (all in one) seem like the easiest.

Can anyone please recommend which cloth nappies are the easiest and most effective?

Also where can you buy AIO nappies?

AIO's would probably be the easiest but i have read and been told they take way too long to dry.

i will be buying a couple but will mostly be going with fitteds with covers.

i dont know which brands are AIO's. ia m confused as much as you are....lol

If you go to a site like the wee wuns or darlings downunder, or any of the nappy selling sites they should have them listed in the different types.

It can be a bit confusing, but trust me it's totally worth switching once you get a handle on it all.

The best thing to do is try a couple of types and work out what will work best for you, because you won't know until you use them on your baby's bum :p

There is a sticky with a link to the BH directry which lists all the fab nappy sites

Good luck, and it really is worth it!!!

If you like the sound of a AIO but don't like the idea of waiting ages for it to dry maybe try an AI2.

These are the same concept but the boosters snap out and can be dried / washed seperately. I have heaps of these. They are so easy.

Some brands include:
berry plush
itti bitti
beetlebum

god there are heaps more but I can't think of any.

Hi there, I thought the same thing when I started using MCN but then I bought a couple of pockets...and they are great. Easy to use but dry quickly:thumbsup: ....They have the cover built in, you don't need to use liners, all you have to do is stuff an insert inside the nappy...and most of them come with the inserts to easy peasy.

Bumgenius pockets are my fav...but there are plenty available out there. Maybe try a pocket and an AIO and then decided which you like?

pockets are really easy :)

DF thinks they are the easist to use hands down :)

maybe get a trail pack from green kids and seee how you go with that

but sall babies are diffferent so better to try a few different ones and see which ones fits your DD best :)

I like fitteds with wool covers.

I had a few AIOs but sold them all except my Berry Plushes. Berry Plushes are AI2 and they are pretty special.

I also have a few pockets. I like having a mix of nappy types.

But the majority of my stash are fitteds, I find them the easiest/preferred nappy for us.

There are about as many opinions about which nappy is best as there are nappy's on the market. Maybe get a couple of trial packs of different types of nappy's. AIO take way too long to dry for me. Pockets I seems to stuff up and have leaks all the time so I don't want to try any different one's anymore, I feel like I wasted my money on 2 different types and that's enough.

Most of my stash are BBB and I like having a separate cover because sometimes we can go coverless or use a soaker or longie instead of something that needs to snap to a cover to stay in place. This appeals to what my parents were used to with nappy's from their day too so they have come over from the "dark side" far easier and love changing nappy's when we visit now too

I find pockets are great for quick changes. I use fitteds when there is sleep involved or we are just hanging out around the house (no cover). And AIOs or pockets when out.
