So I got my Little Squirt today :smiliedance:, just tried it out and the spray is TOTALLY different to what I thought it was going to be.. The way mine sprays is quite open (?). I thought it was going to be one hard squirt.. Am I a good explainer or what?

Once the water hit the nappy, I was saturated :o. Luckily the nappy had minimal poo on it.

So anywhoos, is yours like this?

 yep they didn't give you the wrong thing

You might need to turn the pressure down on your toilet tap, it will mean your toilet fills up a little slower, but that is better than being covered in a shower of whatever you baby ate for lunch :p

you can also loosen the screw on the gun so it's a bit more flexable of a spray. Does that make sense?

But yes it is a shower rather than a stream. I'm not sure if I'm using the right words but it looks right in my tired brain

On mine I can vary it - if I squeeze the trigger harder it does more of a forceful and 'focused' single jet of water, if I don't squeeze as hard it's like more of a spread-out, less forceful 'shower' if that makes sense. Anyone else's do this? Or am I just lucky

When I was learning to use mine I used to leave the toilet seat down and hold the nappy under the seat rim and direct the force of the water so that any splashback went mostly under the seat, helped me avoid splashes while I got the hang of the right combination of force and direction.

It's a fine art!

Actually you are right Kimba, it just depends on how your squeasing, and the mains pressure at the time

So true, so true!!

Now that I've had mine for a while, I'm quite good at it though!! But to start with, I had problems with the broad spray it produces. Now I know when I have the nappy and sprayer angled just right- then I squeeze the trigger harder for a more solid stream of water.

I too leave the seat down as 'extra protection' :D

Just remember not to look down into the bowl as you're spraying, just in case! :laughing:And do lots of practice with a clean nappy ;)

Once you get the hang of it though, it's the best thing ever.
