Does anyone have a recipe for rice pudding suitable for a 10 month old?
Thanks :)

This is a very easy rice pudding:
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup milk warmed
few drops of vanilla flavouring essence
1 tablespoon sugar
1. Combine all ingredients
2. Cook very gently for 10 minutes until rice is heated through.
It says it is 2-4 baby serves
This is from 'Robin Barker's' - "Baby & Toddler Meals"- Great book!
Hope bubs likes :)

Ahh, thats a good one! I didn't want to make a huge serve as no-one else eats it, not even DD1! Thanks jennasmum!

Do you know if that can be frozen (say if bubs doesn't eat it all after a couple of days?)

Shelly68 I don't think you can freeze it.
In the book I got it from a recipe usually has a note to say 'suitable for freezing'.
But this recipe doesn't have that notation.
Maybe it's the milk in it??
I made this for my DD when she was younger and she wouldn't eat it. So I did!! :p It's yummy! :)

Thanks Jennasmum,
That's generally what I used to do with the kids.
1 spoon for them, 1 spoon for me
1 spoon for them, 2 spoons for me, lol

Well, it's not rice pudding but a similar concept!
Sweet Couscous
makes about 1/3 cup
1 cup (250ml) milk
1 Tbs couscous
1 tsp white sugar
pinch ground cinnamon
Combine ingredients in a small sauceopan and bring to the boil
Reduce heat, simmer, stirring about 10 minutes until mixture thickens
Sounds alright!
