hi guys, well after the replies i got about abusive dh , i finally sort help. I made an appoinment with ISIS primary care. Today i was intending to see a head shrink but instead was sent to a community health nurse... hmmmmm i thought. I told myself i wasnt going to cry, but i was a basket case. She was so helpful, not sympathetic either just told me straight, get out of there " look at yourself, what you have become". I asked dh to get help together , he said he has no problem. (NOT TO MENTION HE WAS 30mins late for picking me up from work, left me standing there , so worried about sascha and wouldnt pick up phone) She gave me some info about anger management groups, parenting groups for him. I plan to give them to him later when he is in a good mood. Nothing is open til after xmas, sascha and i will be going to a residential stay at twiddle. She said she can help me leave for sydney. I was shocked when she suggested a refuge. but ne way she made me another appointment, gave me great info especially the number for a legal advice centre 15mins walk from here. I feel like i have options. dh did not ask about it , i mentioned i went and sais i was a little shocked about some things she said, he replied "it was about me , my anger" yes i said it was. He says he has no problem, but knows he does, yet wont get help. Its now a waiting game til we are in position, going to apply for jobs now and call the legal centre. Thanks guys so much you have helped me heaps. PS hubby had ALL of the domestic violence traits on the sheet, he is not too happy lol.
