Hi girls
I'm currently in Sdyney ATM and will be for a few more weeks because of DH's work. This means that i'll be missing an appt with my ob back home, so he wants me to see a Obstetric GP here for a check up. I also was wanting a scan just for peace of mind, would feel better since I'm not at home with my own Dr at hand. Anyway, was wondering whether any of you know of any places around the western suburbs that do 3d U/S?
TIA

I'm about 20 minutes from Parramatta and when I was pregnant with DS this was the only place I knew of to go if you want the full fancy 3d scan. Its pretty expensive though I think.
For a regular ultrasound (they did 3d so we could see the face but just regular for the rest of the body) I had mine done at Sydney Ultrasound for Women. They have numerous offices, the one I went to was at Baulkham Hills Private hospital which is only about 15 minutes from Parramatta (quicker if you're going when there isn't a lot of traffic). Hope that helps!
The only 3D imaging place I found in Sydney that does them for non-medical reasons was in Alexandria (Kings Cross basically). No-one else would see me without a referral from my GP.
The one in the city was going to cost me roughly $300 - that was for the scan, pics, a DVD and photo frames...
Oh, when I rang around, the one in the city was the only one that did a full 3D scan - the others flicked to 3D for a short time - that was it...

Thanks for all the replies gyus! I'm going to north west u/s, don't really care if it isn't 3D! I really want to get one done as I'm away from home and have had funny pains, so just for piece of mind. Don't know if these guys have 3d, but if they don't thats ok. Can always get one done back home!
Thanks!
