I'm still here been busy had lots of family visit over easter and in the week before.

yesterday we had a lunch my hubby's brother and his partner came up and one of my best mates.

Hi everyone haven't been on in ages been very busy I have gone back to work for 2 days a week.

We had a busy easter, mum is down, my bro came down from brissy on sat and stayed the night and then we all went to my uncle's place for lunch on sun and other family came from brissy for it too.

Brought a house on Sat it's very nice so can't wait to move in.

I have been busy and keep forgetting to come on here, feels like i haven't been on for ages.

We didn't really do much for Easter, hope evryone had a great time.

I am up for a meet after Thursday, Craig is going to Alice springs for 3 weeks, and i am staying behind, i was going to go to Melb and ALice but have decided to just stay here, easier with Anna's kinder etc.

Hi all just a question was wanting to know what everyone's bub were doing at 5 months and how much they were sleeping and feeding and when you all started solids.

eloranatalia your bub is 2 weeks younger maybe you could help me out.

Most 5 month olds will be able to roll over, grab at toys and put it to their mouth, grab their feet and maybe put them in their mouth, Laugh, talk (babble in their own language),, turn towards loud sounds, recognise mummy, daddy, siblings ect. Maybe start to recognise their own name, sit up unaided for about 2 seconds, stand up when you hold their hands.
This is just a ruff idea of what some should be doing, some will not be rolling over still at 5 months and some will be crawling already.

I started solids with Elora when she was about 5 and a half months old. With Natalia I think I will have to start them now, she is showing all the signs of wanting to eat. when they are still under 5 or 6 months you should avoid foods with starch in them as they can not digest them properly. Also lots of other foods should be avoided until 6 months because of the increased chance of getting an allergy.

With your question on sleep, Natalia is SHOCKING! she does not sleep much during the day but neither did Elora at this age but Elora was sleeping through the night from 4 weeks old, Natalia is still waking 2-3 times a night, sometimes up to 5-6 times! and for sometimes she just does not want to go back to sleep, she sleeps better when she is in bed with me and her dad, although I don't always sleep well with her their, especially when Elora comes in to our bed during the night, talk about a full bed! haha
