anyone had a second D&C

i've just been told i needed a second D&C because i had one 8 weeks ago, following an early labour at 16 weeks pregnant, and i'm still bleeding after all this time. i've been on hormone tablets to stop the bleeding, but it only really slowed it down.

has this happened to anyone else?? were the results good?

i feel very frustrated to say the least. i would have thought that my now i would have been physically recovered from the last pregnancy and back to a normal cycle. Grrrrrr....

I have not had to experience a second d&c (my d&c in January was complete), but a friend had to have a second d&c last year after having problems with her first d&c.

Good news though, after the second one she went onto to conceive soon after and now has a healthy baby boy.

this is just the sort of thing i need to hear at the moment. congratulations to yur friend. hope i have a similar story soon........ God knows - i need it
