We live near Newcastle in NSW and have been working with SIVF. We have now been told that our best (and probably last) chance to have a baby together is to hope that we can find an exceptional woman who would be happy to donate an egg for us. I am 42 and my DH is 45.
We met and fell in love four years ago and I moved from NZ to be with him so we now live in NSW. I waited most of my adult life to find my soulmate and he is the most wonderful man and is the man I have waited to raise a child with. An alternative is that it might be possible for a couple undergoing IVF to donate some of their eggs to us or maybe to do a shared cycle? I am open to any suggestions.
Please think about making our hearts complete. We have a loving, happy, close family and would just love to share the experience of raising a baby together.
I have raised four children as a single mother because I felt that was a more secure life for them than to marry a man who would never have been a good father. Now with thsi loving and genuinely good man we can offer a baby a home and two committed loving parents who want more than anything to raise a child together. We are currently sharing our hearst with foster-children through DOCS and that is a wonderful experience but it does not make the pain of wanting to have a baby together any less.
