I feel i am having a dilemma with my darling 7 week old twin boys, the last couple of days and nights they have been crying themselves to sleep. I am finding it difficult trying to calm one down when i am feeding the other. It could take up to 1/2 hour to 45 mins before they fall asleep. I know the crys are for attention but what can i do?

You poor thing! I don't have any words of advice, but just wanted to offer my sympathy since trying to tend to both of them must be very challenging! Hopefully someone with twins can share their experience. Hang in there. :)

Babies of 7 weeks aren't really attention junkies, they're just balls of biology. Crying can ramp up around this time for singletons as well but obviously with twins it becomes a little more complex. You really need DP to be parenting with you. Skin on skin, slinging, lots of tandem boobing will all help. They might be letting go tension so they can sleep, they might be working through some birth trauma, they're only wee babes and they need their parents as much as possible. I hope you're cosleeping so you can be as close to them at all times and not have to get up to feed or anything. Twins is really hard work at first but people do survive. Get as much family and friend support as possible so you only have to parent. Get food cooked for you, get someone to clean your house, only do the absolute necessities - feed babies, change babies, lie in bed gazing lovingly at naked skin-on-skin babies! Ah bliss! Make sure your babymoon is really extended as you have 2 beautiful babes to welcome :)
