Finally made a decision - I hope !!!

You wouldn't believe it but we have changed our mind with Lila Joan. We now have decided that we will call our little angel Poppy Joan!

I know it's a little weird for some but my DH loves it! and so do I. My brother hates it and my mother is a little unsure I can tell cause she keeps asking if I have changed my mind :)

So what do you all think do we like Poppy? Be honest

Its a very cute name, but its not one of my favourites. It just feels really old fashioned to me. But a lot of old fashioned names are coming back.

Its one of those names that once your family see your baby and start calling her poppy, they'll love it and think its suits her.

That's totally my opinion anyway!

Sorry I can't really imagine a girl being called that IMO only.

The first thing I think of is my poppy (grandfather) - this is what we used to call him and now my girls call my father poppy.

It's a cute name, but I don't know if I would use it.. Just my opinion though... I know my DH wouldn't like it and would probably come up with jokes about it...

But don't worry about what others think... As long as you and DH love it thats all that matters.. The other people in your life will get use to it and will probably end up loving it anyway...

I think Poppy is a beautiful name and would love to use it myself, but what turns me off is that I think it really only suits a little girl, and not so much a buisness woman or someone to be taken very seriously in a leadership role. But it is only a name and wont define her personality, so dont take me to seriously either.

Thanks guys for your opinions. Looks like Poppy Joan is the name! I did think of that Klowry but people like Poppy King and Poppy Montgomary seem to be taken very seriously with their work - so I was fine after that.

Poppy is very cute! We have tossed that name around a few times actually but decided it's not for us but I do like it!
