MCN Convert - advice wanted

Hi There

i have recently purchased pea pods mcns and i am addicted. i am happy with pea pods however wanted some advice on what other style/brands are good. i have ordered 5 cushie tushies has anyone else used these?

i like the pocket style of the pea pods so if anyone has any brands they love please let me know.

Sorry I havent used cushie tushies, but if you like peapods then you might like bumgenius pockets. I have found them to be really good. They are velcro (not snaps like peapod). They are also one size fits all (with a clever snap system to increase the rise of the nappy) so good value for money. The inserts are good too, they double over on the rise and snap together for extra boosting where its needed. I love them....

I have just bought some Hautes too so will let you know how they go when I get them through the wash....they are another pocket nappy. THey come in both snaps and velcro.

That should at least give you an idea of what other people use and why. They are only PUL though so if you want fleece or minky etc somebody will have to help you.

I started off with Peapods but fell in love with Green Kids!

And yep my workhorse nappies are Cushie Tushies! I really love them, bub looks comfiest in those than any other nappy!
They aren't overly absorbant (they are nice and trim :)) but they are great!

Sounds like you are getting into pockets- great for winter, they dry fast! if the insert is taking a little too long to dry, you can just use a terry or flannellette flat, or whatever's handy! I use flannellette flats as inserts when I'm running low on nappies and the pocket is dry but the insert is wet.

My fav pocket is the Swaddlebee organic velour side snap pocket (not the fleece one). It is so trim but absorbant, sits below bub's belly and is narrow between their legs. I also like Bits for Bots, Fruit Salad trim fit pockets and Happy Heiny's. Just to name a few!!
