AF 8 days late but no BFP?

Hi :wave: well I think the title says it all, I'm currently 8 days late for AF but have tested twice for pg with midstream pg tests & both have come back :bfn:
I had a UTI (my first one) that I sought treatment for & before prescibing the anti-biotics the Dr tested me for pg (as he advised me that you can get them as a result of being pg) but this was 3 days before AF was due and he also got :bfn:
Could AF be delayed as a result of the anti-biotics, what should I do?

Thought I would reply so you didnt feel neglected!

Our bodies do strange things sometimes...I think it might have had something to do with the uti, but it could just be that youre having an "off" cycle or an anovulatory one...or you may have ovulated late. Without charting, its kinda hard to know whats happening with your cycle. I would give it more time...maybe continue testing every couple of days and if you are ttc, keep bding...you may not have O'd yet. Good luck!

I was almost 2 weeks late with my last af and was getting :bfn: fom every test i did, and af did eventually show up!

Sometimes stress can make our bodies go haywire, so don't worry and wait it out. If in doubt go back to your docs.

It is common for the HPT not to show something until you are 10 day late. I have heard that for some they never show up on a HPT. I would test every couple of day and if nothing after 10 days late I would go see the doc. Unless your AF is irregular in which case you should probably wait a little longer.
