Hi girls,
Our finances aren't doing as well as we'd hoped this year and I've decided to start ironing  for some extra cash just until things pick up.
So, how much should I charge??? How much would you pay ???
What would your expectations be???

My mum does ironing and charges $12 an hour.
We have ladies around here that charge $14 an hour.
Maybe if you look in your paper sometimes people advertise and they say their price. You could ring a couple of them and just enquire like you wanted to get yours done and ask them what they do.Some deliver, some don't for the same price.
All the best.
Michelle

We used to pay a lady $15 a hour - we found she would iron so slow to get paid more that we started paying per basket - around $30 - we knew it would take a couple of hours to do. You really need to be able to iron really fast and be good at it.
I would advertise your service to family and friends, in the paper or on community notice boards. Good luck I hope it all works out for you.

At the moment I'd pay a kings ransom :) I'm seriously thinking of getting someone to do mine... I'm to big and tired!
