Hi Girls,
I'm from regional Victoria, but am closer to Adelaide than Melbourne (plus all DH's family live in Adelaide) so when my Ob told me i have to go to Melbourne for the Nuchal Fold Scan, i asked if i could go to Adelaide. She said yes, but could only suggest i ring Bensons to see if they do it.
I've done that, but they only do the straight Nuchal fold scan - they don't read the results in relation to the blood test that you get done at 10-11 weeks... so i'm wondering where i can go to get the full Nuchal screening done in Adelaide?
Oh, and The Women's and Childrens is the obvious answer, but they are so busy that they won't take anyone who isn't birthing there.
I had a high risk reading with my son, so feel that it is important to get the full scan done. Bensons seemed to think that my Obstetrician should be able to read all the results, but i know that last time she didn't interpret them as the Dr who did the scan did all the interpreting ... unfortunately he has now retired.
Any suggestions would be more than appreciated! I'm also happy to go to a private practice.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
Lisa
