Hahahahahah !
My old cat did this also !
I only busted her after one nite she came home almost bulging at the seams !
So i knew she was being fed elsewhere she then proceeded to vomit ! onto our floor a meal of fish & rice all homemade of course !!!!!
So i have to give her credit wherever it was that she went to she chose well being that they made her home cooked meals & i even noticed one time she had been frontlined !!!!
Little bugger heheheheh.
Did you ever see that ad cant remember what it was for & your saw the cat roam from house to house changing collars etc was hilarious especially when you know they do this !!!!!!!
lol yeah theyre not silly huh!
nah i never seen that ad.. but i am so tempted to put a different collar on him or something on their collar, just for shock value hehe
let them know they also being scammed by "the" cat.
hmmm i *wonder* if theyre also paying cat registration to the council  gees our local council are laughin then arent they!

Yeah thats what i used to do i never worked out whether it freaked them or not though nor did i ever find out who she was going to hehe.
Id put a new collar on him & put a little message attached saying something smart like " My name is xxxx if you havent already worked out im a con man !!!! Please by all means keep feeding me it means my other owner pays less in her grocery bills. Oh & she wants to know if you want to pay the council registration or at least go halves seening as your co-owner" hahahah

I feel betrayed by my furry friend...I moved next door to my sister a few months ago and hes adopted her LOL. I guess he likes chicken necks and the cavier she feeds him, instead of the cheapest cans I buy at the supermarket LOL
TRAitor LOL
tie a note to the collar saying thanks for sharing lol
but i am so tempted to put a different collar on him or something on their collar, just for shock value hehe

That would be so funny. You have to do it!!
I think I would be really upset if my cat did that. He's always been an inside cat but now he is allowed outside and he sometimes stays out late, but if he does I leave a window open and he is always curled up in my bed with me by about 10.30-11pm. The nextdoor neighbours have told me he eats their cat's food and wanders through their house like he owns it though!
lol - like the note suggestion!
Have to say that you are all very lucky (or that I"m very unlucky....one of the two). Whilst living at one of our old houses, my cat was allowed out through the day. At one stage, she went missing for three days - she'd been locked in a neighbours garage because they thought she was a feral (she can't wear a collar) and were trying to starve her to death.
When we got her back - she was the best bug catcher in the world. Kinda scary how quick she could move, but that's what she'd been surviving on. She was just skin and bones, and while she's gone back to being lazy when it comes to bugs, she is now an indoor cat.

Did you report them to the RSPCA? Poor puddy!!! :(
No, no proof. Only a very sneaky suspison. The old lady kept telling us that cats were trying to eat the fish out of her pond, and she was sick of it and was going to do something about it!!! But, that could have meant that she was going to cover over the pond or something, so, no proof :(

OMG !!!!!
I so would have said something
But then i couldnt when it came to my partners nan. One time at a lunch at my MIL's we somehow got onto the topic of how my cat just gave birth blah blah the next thing this frail little old lady pipes up "oh so have you drowned them yet ??!!" now luckily my partner had warned me what she was like but i still nearly fell off my chair his brother had to come to my aid & calm me down !!!!
Cant believe some people could be so cruel !

 OMFG! allyoo- I would have said, no I didn't drown them.. I was compassionate, just like your mother...... (meeeeoow!) I guess you can't say that to a frail old lady though!
Cats are such Floozies aren't they! Cheeky buggers. We really have no idea what they get up to outside of our own yard, my cats are ravenous little beasts. They would have no problems accepting a treat from some nice family :) And they are microchipped because they won't keep the collar on so they could pass as "ownerless".
I love the idea about putting a note on the new collar :D

Strange thing though Keara is she is actually quite lovely & this is really my only problem with her in that she hates cats & with a vengeance but loves all other animals so i just now stay off the topic LOL !
I understand a lot of people are against them due to them killing off wildlife etc but most of us are responsible owners unfortunately as is the case with anything else its always the minority who ruin it for everyone else !

:) I'm sure she is lovely, and of course a comeback to her comment isn't deserved just based on her generational attitude! My grandparents have some attitudes I feel are a bit backwards too... doens't make them bad all round :)
I totally agree with you about other cat owners giving cats a bad name. They didn't ask to be brought here and I can certainly understand that they are a problem, but this hatred some people have is misplaced... They are a great predator... they are just surviving like any other animal.

Hehehe dannii, thats funny! I agree with the not idea! You have to do it! They might write a note back maybe?
My cat hate everyone but me (even DH!), so i know she doesn't go near other people....my female only goes over to my elderly neighbours place, but runs if she sees her. She likes to sleep in her garden away from our "Turbo" dog!
lol you guys are all so funny... and just as devious muhahahaha
BUT... i am afraid that IF i do write the note, they may stop feeding him lol and he'll come and expect the good meals back at home!
It was my daughters cat originally... she bought him for $2 out of her own money, and was spoilt rotten... i dont think he knew he had legs until at least 6 months of age!
but he then went off to do the "tom cat thing" and went from cute & fluffy persian puddy cat to.. beaten up, alley cat desperate for a feed kinda look. *shrugs*
i guess someone felt sorry for this so-called abandoned cat!
oh i also like the suggestion of goin halves in the registration lol
