I never post anything on any forums, especially now that I have a baby, no time even to scratch myself. However, this worked wonders and I just wished I had tried it before.

My little boy started having colic at 3 weeks of age. He would cry unless we walked him and patted his back at the same time. It would start a 6pm and go to midnight. Then at 8 weeks, he would fall asleep at 10-11pm, so a bit better. He was such an unhappy baby though. He cried so much, never happy unless I was holding him and moving and this just sooooooooooo tiring.

I thought I just ended up with a grouchy baby. Moreover, putting him to sleep at night was a nightmare.

Anyways I was at my chiro getting an adjustment, he had checked Liam's spine after birth and it was fine. Anyways, Brett, the Chiropractor mentioned that he could help with colic. Well, I was a bit doubtful but made an appointment, it was worth a try but I figure he was getting a bit better so maybe it wasn't necessary.

I took him in last Monday and Brett said it would take about 4 days to notice any difference. By Wednesday, Liam was a very different baby. No more CRYING!!!! I picked him up on Wednesday to do my usual hour walk to get him to go to sleep and placed him in his cot and said go to sleep and he did, no walking!!!! I just stood there in shock. Since I just walk him around for 10 minutes, lay him down and he goes to sleep. In addition, his new bedtime is 7:30 and he sleeps through the night, though he is an early riser 6:00am, but I am not going to complain.

I have my life back!!! I went for a second and last treatment for Liam today, almost kissed the Chiro :D

I know it might not work for every baby as well as it has for Liam but it is amazing and I just had to tell other moms. My baby isn't a grouch after all, and I am a happier and more relaxed mom.

Just in case your interested in giving it a try, which I highly recommend his name is
Brett Watson, located in Perth on Wellington Street, 9325 8770.

Oh and the treatment is very gentle. Liam smiles the whole time, he loves Brett.

Hi there,

An osteopath can have the same effect - it's like bubs getting a massage!

Ours sorted out colic and teething issues!

Yes, he said the method was develop by an osteopath, pretty interesting method. He just touches areas of the body and then taps Liam on the head.

It does work, I will know for next time if I am crazy enough to do this again:)

LOL i mis-read the name of this thread, I thought it said COMIC relief LOL.... but man am I glad I read it!! I live in Adelaide but if this new bubs is colicky, I will be taking him straight to the chiro!!! When I was 8 weeks pregnant and had really bad m/s, I went to the chiro a few time and it literally cured the m/s!!! It was only the cost prevented me from going back regularly. But when you've got a colicky baby, sleep is priceless so I won't care what it costs!!!
