Ive started to get heat rash under my bust (where my maternity bra sits) and on the bottom of my belly (where my new stretch amrks are forming  )
Does anyone else have this or has had this with previous pregnancies? Its getting to the point where I'm straining not to scratch it, as the skins already broken. Ive tried lotions but nothing works. I was told baby powder, but with the broken skin it stung something shocking.
Thanks ladies

Yeah i got it under my bust too as well as under my tummy above my pubic hair line as my tummy got soooo big cause of bubs it actually sat on that area
You basically need to keep it aired & dry as much as possible as i found this worked well so walking around naked helps even if it does shock the neighbours hehehe ;) i actually used to just wear a big comfy tshirt to let myself "air" & like dannii i used baby powder as i found this helped with the rubbing also found it helped soak up the sweat :o remind me never to have another summer pregnancy heh i forgot all the "bad" things hehehehe.

I was saying to DH "We didnt plan this very well huh!"
I had my first in winter (in new zealand) so this sort of pregnancy weather was a slight "kick in the face" compared to what i'd had previously. Ill try to air myself out as much as i can, but being big busted im sure this will be interesting. As for the shirt, i started doing that yesterday and found it so much more comfortable then my maternity bra (which is rubbing on the affected area)
Thanks for the help - hopefully it wont stay for to long

Yeah i guess ive always been lucky that im not big busted & i didnt even get big when pregnant !!!!! I was ripped off !!!!
My mum still teases me that im the only pregnant woman who she has ever heard of not getting bigger boobs :p
Oh wells hopefully you will feel the benefit soon & just try & stay cool as hard as it is i know !
Take care.

My only advice would be calamine (sp?) lotion. I don't have heat rash but have horrific stretch marks that itch like crazy and the calamine lotion soothes quite well.

There is a new Curash 'anti-rash family powder' out now...bought some yesterday for the girls.

It says it helps treat and prevent rashes & chafing, and absorbs excess perspiration & soothes irritation....Use curash to prevent & treat prickly heat, chafed skin, heat rash, excess perspiration & sweaty feet....

Maybe this might help & not sting like the other one.....should be pretty mild i think, it also says it has Zinc oxide in it to help soothe....Its in a dark blue bottle...

Good Luck!

You could also try Pinetar lotion. I used this on my kids when they had chicken pox, and have used it since on every kind of rash, sunburn, insect bites etc. It really seems to take the itch out. Smells a bit though.
