Dr. Esther Andrews or Dr. Karen Watson?

Does anyone have any knowledge of Brisbane obstetricians Karen Watson and Esther Andrews? They both deliver at the Wesley. Personal experiences would be great or just what you've heard from others? Thanks :D

Hi Natalie (or anyone else who can comment!) This is a long shot, however, wondering if you ever went ahead with either of these Obstetricians? My GP recently referred me to Dr Karen Evans (who I am yet to see) so any input on her style would be great. She only visits the Wesley and I have read a lot of threads referring to an extremely high Caesar rate occurring there (70%+).

All going well beforehand I am hoping for an active, natural birth, so am a little apprehensive hearing this, although I guess the hospital's record may not necessarily match Karen's??

I am 39 and this is my first pregnanacy. Any insights please?! :confused:

I have had both my boys at the Wesley with Dr Karen Watson & I love them both. I have also
had 2 VB with only using the gas. I was induced for both births with me being the one asking for this to happen. Yes there are a lot of CC at any private hospital. Karen never pushed me into having a CC or even suggested it. I was very happy with the way I was looked after with both births and hope to be doing it again in the next 12 months. I hope you get what you want.
