I sometimes used uncooked cous cous. Always loads of gravy yum.

A bit late, I know, but I just do the same - flour, egg, breadcrumbs. But MIL sometimes adds parmesan cheese to the crumbs, especially with crumbed fish.

Yummo - will have to have crumbed cutlets & mash later in the week.

I second the idea of grated parmesan mixed in with the bread crumbs. Yummmmmmmmmmmm!

Mix together cornflake crumbs, very smashed up plain potato chips and grated parmesan.

YUM!

And I believe gluten free! :)

flour, egg, breadcrumbs with parmesan and either dried or fresh rosemary mixed in as well. Cracked black pepper doesn't go astray either.

Oh YumYUM!
