***TMI WARNING***
I've just pulled out the mirror for a good look and I think I might have some kind of abcess too. Doesn't hurt, but it is a very distinct hard lump in a spot that should be squishy (not just scar tissue). Will definitely get this looked at a.s.a.p. I'm very worried now. Hopefully I don't need surgery... the episiotomy took so long to stop hurting. I don't want to go through that again :crying:
TMI Warning again! It doesn't sound like an abcess because it would be extremely painful and full of puss. They have to be drained so if you had one you would know about it.
It sounds more like a hard lump from the healing. They gave me some cream to help soften the area as there's alot of hard skin down there. This might be an option for you too so don't worry just yet. Definitely see your Dr when you can though, best to get it sorted sooner rather than later.
How's the profile page coming along?

Wellllllllllllllllll my back is killing me right now.
Poor Cody had her 8 week needles today-yes we are a bit late coz we went away and she was sick- so no option but to wait......anyway she has been a bit whingy all day and the only way i could settle her was to carry her. Well carrying her for 5 hrs is not an option when i have 4 kids so i had to put her in my sling (seems everyone is getting use from theirs atm) and it hurts!!!!!!! The straps are not right and sit on my shoulders the wrong way so puts too much strain on my back!
Its only a pretty cheap one ($60) i think) so it looks like i'll be off tomorrow o order a better one that supports her weight better.
I was looking at the Hug a bubs or something similar and i know that they are expensive but wondering if anyone has one if they would recommend it? I dont mind spending the money if im gunna be comfy-but im not buyig a "kapoochi" style again- they hurt me too much.
Can anyone recommend one thats comfortable to wear for long periods of time?
TIA
:hugs:

Thanks for the reassurance. Hope to get an appointment at GP tomorrow and I'll let you know what they say.
Profile page is bounding along. My first blog entry could be Chapter 1 of my life story... I have a tendency to write waaaay too much (and I'm an editor!).
Now that Liam has settled into a predictable routine I have more time to waste on the internet. What have you started with these profiles??!!

Wellllllllllllllllll my back is killing me right now.
My back is killing me at the moment too. Stupid me fell asleep on the couch at my MIL's house while she was looking after Liam, and I went to jump up suddenly when I heard him crying and proceeded to roll off the couch and landed flat on my back! Really dumb, but kind of funny.
I have a dodgy back anyway so I haven't tried a sling at all. Can't help you I'm afraid, but felt the need to share. :)

Ok.. stupid question. I've also wasted a lot of time over the last day doing my Zoints profile (so go check it out, write a comment and make me look somewhat popular !!! :D )... and even though I consider myself to be fairly tech-savvy... I still haven't worked out how to add people to my network. Is it a matter of adding friends to my buddy list?? Also, because I've accepted the invitations from users (ie Hels, Harley etc).. does this mean that I have to do it in return??
How can something so simple confuse the utter cr@p outta me !!

RE: slings - i had a cheapie and it used to kill my neck even when lily was under 3kg. then i got a secend hand baby bjorn "active carrier" and it is great. she spends about 4 hours a day in there and so far so good.
Lily was off her food yesterday. at first i though it was that she was over stimulated but now i think it is her relux playing up. It always seems to happen when we get close to the end of her losec suspension - it is $50 a bottle (for about 3.5 weeks worth). i think next month i will have to chuck the last 3 days worth.
Otherwise lily is starting to sleep through from her late feed until 645am. good girl. i am awake but i just lie under the covers and resist the urge to check on her.
The wedding on the weekend was good fun. my family really knows how to have a good time. i was one of the only family members who did know fall down repeatedly from being drunk! it was nice to get my hair done and get dressed up.
