OK, I put other. Only because I'm being completely & utterly selfish & it'd be easier for me if it was in Caloundra! :)
I've been thinking about how I may be able to engineer a night out for myself, and wondered if it'd be OK with you all if I had to bring DS along. It's just that with BF and not being in a routine with him yet, it'd be a bit much I think. Plus DH would have a hard time doing bedtime for both of them on his own. (I haven't even figured out yet how the hell I'm going to do it when he goes away!!)
I'm just thinking aloud here. I couldn't even say with 100% certainty at this stage whether I'll be able to make it at all.
Hi SC ladies. Im going to be on the Sunny Coast in May and would love to join you.
Just a suggestion...How about the Mooloolaba Surf Club (http://www.thesurfclub.com.au/supporters/dining.htm)? Beautiful beach views while we eat and a great selection of food at reasonable prices. They have live music quite often and even a courtesy bus for those not wanting to drive.
We could walk up the beach afterwards too and grab a starbucks or something?
Look forward to meeting you all!

Doesnt really bother me where we have it on the sunny coast, I wll probably drive. I live in Chancellor if anyone wants to drink and wants a lift:yes:
TRU...Sometimes u have to be careful of the Mooloolaba SC as it can get SO busy there, sometimes we have walked out cause there are to many people and u have to wait 2 hours for a table and its so noisy in there u cant even talk to anyone unless u shout!
Maroochy SC is good, same nice views, but less crowded. But someone has to be a member. I would rather go to the less crowded spots so we dont have to shout at one another to talk. Whats Hogs breath like at the warf? I havent been to that one.
Good thinking about the busyness of Mooloolaba. What if we found out about their prices for a more private special dinner for our group? That way we wouldn't have to wait for tables, etc...

Otherwise, Maroochydore would be good too. Is anyone a member?

I love in Tewantin and am unable to drive :( So I was hoping somewhere close to me was in the mix.
A place i recommend is Villa Noosa - its lovely there - they have a great restaurant, a bar. pokies and a heap of other stuff. So yeh thats a bit from me lol

i really dont mind where as long as its on the coast and i am a member of the maroochydore rsl if that helps in anyway
Mrs Miggins i think it would be great if u bring ds along wherever we are going. I think at this stage it will be dinner somewhere nice, not a bar ot anything.
Hey it says Mooloolabah has most votes on poll. So I have no idea where to book...I'll wait for a while and see what people say over the next week or two.
Keep the ideas coming girls.

I live in Peregian Spring, i can pick you up and drop you off if you want? Its not that far and i am preggers so i wont be drinking!
Ah that would be wondeful -
Thank you so much for offering that - ill give you money for petrol :)
So still...anymore ideas for dinner or preferences ladies..i have to make a decision?
I don't think I would enjoy the Mooloolaba Surf Club, too packed and noisy for old people like me   . Lots of other restaurants there tho, Montazomas is a good one. Always wanted to go to Hathi too but never have.
Prefer quiet spot where can chat easily. Don't really mind where it is Maroochydore/Mooloolaba probably good.
No probs with MrsMiggins bringing bubs, so again somewhere where everyone can feel comfortable.
My fav restaurant is at Tewantin...whoever said they were from there. I love the Harbor Master

Hey Kiah
Maybe u should just pick a few spots that we have mentioned and do a poll? Will probably be the only way we will all decide! Most votes wins!

i dont really know any great restaurants, i love hogs breath and you can book upstairs privately but probably not a great place to take bubby (who has to come!! One man will be allowed!!)
I am just looking forward to meeting everyone!
Oh, I've taken Claire to Hog's Breath at Caloundra once (admittedly it was for lunch rather than dinner) and they were very child friendly.

i too have been to hogs breath caloundra and they were absolutely great:thumbsup:
Thanks lovely ladies i will give it one more week for peeps to keep ideas coming in. Really good to have diff ideas. And I must say Mrs M that your little man is divine and we would luv to have him at dinner. (Not to eat of course, just to cuddle:laughing: ).
I think a quiet place would be good, afterall thats what this is all about so we can chat and get to know one another.
It is going to be real nice.

Not sure if I missed something, what day are we talking about? like weekend or weeknight?
I would prefer something near Caloundra, as anything else puts me too far away from DS and he is still waking in the night, sometimes up to 5 times :( He is always looking for boobie, not necesarily to drink......
Would be perfect if you lovely ladies wanted to come my way. ;)
I would love to come and join you ladies for dinner. Mooloolaba sounds fine. There are so many restaurants there we should easily be able to find something to suit. I think that somewhere where we can book will be easiest, so maybe not a surf club.
Just happy to get out and meet everyone!

Heya, I've just been directed here by Lili's Mum, Sarah!
I would love to join you lovely ladies for dinner if that would be ok?
I usually spend my time on another forum, so if any of you know me from there please say hello... I feel a little lost here in BubHubLand!
Anyways, to introduce myself - I'm Erin, 21 - Mum to Cooper (a girl one!) who is almost 11 months. We live at Golden Beach.
I work a few days a week at Coles, but spend most of my time as a SAHM, and have recently become addicted to Modern Cloth Nappies, so if anyone else is also using cloth I'd love to compare stashes with you!
Better stop rambling, please let me know if it'd be ok for me to join you at dinner! Cooper's dad is taking her to Adelaide from the 16th - 21st May so I'll need distracting! :)

Hi Erin!! Welcome!! Try not to feel too lost around here! It doesn't take long to get used to (and then addicted to!) this site!! :D
Which Coles do you work at? I've probably seen you there a million times!
Sorry, I'm a sposies user, but I have often considered switching. I guess it's one of those things I'm just too busy/lazy to actually get around to doing!
Looking forward to meeting you! PM Kiah for the details of the dinner.
