I read it, and felt all chuffed with myself for giving my DD the best start I could offer!
I have actually decided after reading the article that I'm not going back to work when DD is 9mths as planned, as I don't want to risk losing my supply or breaking the bond we have, so I'm waiting till she is at least 1 yr, and will re-evaluate working then!
good on you Isabella's mum!
I'm still BF and working, my supply hasn't dropped.. in fact my boobs hurt on the weekend as they're used to being double-drained, so to speak. :)
I do worry though, because I can't keep it up forever.. I will continue giving him morning and bed time milkies until he's ready to give it up though :)

Your own mum is questioning your decision to continue BF??? WTF??? :banghead:
Don't feel like cr@p, you are doing what is right for you and your boy  , who cares what society dictates is acceptable! :hugs:
I have the latest M&B mag and I did read the article. I am 3 mths pregnant and still bf my 19mth old DD.
DD's age and my now public pregnancy has certainly increased the comments of others about my weaning of DD. At this stage we are both happy to continue bf and now being more aware of the benefits of continuing (esp with the winter cold & flu season almost upon us), I guess we will carry on with the bf until DD is 2 (as I'm still not sure about tandem feeding).
