Trying to find a GP

Hi Guys,

I have just moved to Robina in Gold Coast and are currently looking to find a good GP - anyone in the area recommend anyone. I had my baby on the 20th of March and are keen to meet any other mums in the area too. Please PM me if you are keen.

Also - my babies skin is peeling and really dry - I've tried lotion and oil and yet its still dry - anyone recommend anything?

Are you using bath wash or soaps? I had the same thing first few weeks with my DD and clinic nurse recommended not using them at all as she was probably sensitive to them. I stopped using them for a few weeks and she was fine. Even now I only add a little. I did use sorbolene as well and helped clear it within a few days

DS had the same skin thing. We used QV baby cream.

I'm on the norhtern end of GC so my doc's too far for you. Good luck with that though. I know what a nightmare finding the right doctor can be. I'm pretty happy with mine now, but I tried many (with a few tears along the way) to find her. I still think about my GP in Sydney regularly, and miss her heaps.
