Mobile Epidural

Has anyone had a mobile epidural? If so do you recommend it and can you tell me your experience? Ive heard a lot of good things about it and am considering it for my birth (which is any day now and my first!) :)

Do you mean an epi where you can still walk around ?

If you do i had a self administered epi that i could still walk around the room but couldnt shower etc as had to have heart monitors no the baby. If this is what you mean i had it, loved it and am doing it again if possible for this baby

Yeh thats the one! I'd never heard of it before today. I always thought epi = confined to bed, which seems really awful. I'd much rather be moving around and getting a hand from gravity.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but do you have to have the fetal monitors for all epis or just the walking around kind?

And do all hospitals offer this kind?
