Hi there,
My DH and I are planning on moving to Gloucester and I am keen to know if there are any Gloucester BubHubbers. If so perhaps you could let me know what is it like to live there?
Thanks.
Kirstie

Thanks everyone - we have been there quite a few times over the past year and we love it. I know from experience though that visiting a town and living there can be quite different which is why I'm keen to chat to other mums who are living there - think I might get in contact with a playgroup or the ECHC.

Wow, Jaimee is the first baby I have come across with the same birth date as Jazzy so far!

We had her at the SAN (Sydney Adventist Hospital) which is north of Sydney, near Hornsby.

I did look at the November 06 thread towards the end of my pregnancy but so many people knew each other so well that you kind of feel like an outsider ... silly, I know but you know how precious you are when you are pregnant!

DH and I started looking at moving north a couple of years ago - then we got a little **surprise** with Jazzy so we put off our plans. DH has family on the mid North Coast, which I quite like too, but my heart has always been set on Gloucester.

At the moment we are living in Sydney and even though where we live is beautiful and peaceful (as it's in a National Park) it is still Sydney and we are renting so all the improvements we want to make are out of the question.

What is Newcastle like as a place to live?

 lol...you are actually the 3rd bubba i've come accross.....i came accross a lady in melbourne who i pm...and there is lady on the hunter thread that has a boy born on the same date.

I love newy cause you have the beaches, its close to the country where i grew up ( singleton) but its not the rat race that sydney is. At least gloucester is close to newy and the north coast. So why did you have your heart set on gloucsester?

Hi Pinksuede

My DH grew up at Stratford which is just outside Gloucester and he still has family up there (Gloucester). My sister lived for 18 years at Stroud, so I know area ok. Unfortunately, I don't know any younger people that way ( all of DHs relatives are older). I'm sure you'll meet mums there when you settle in.

I also live in Newcastle. Have always lived here, so don't know what its like to live anywhere else!! Hope the moving experience is an easy one :)
