now that i'm back in melbourne, i've been indulging in one of my favourite pasttimes - reading trashy magazines. this week's who has got its annual list of the 25 intriguing people. always a diverting read. i have to ask you though...ashlee simpson...what is intriguing about ashlee simpson??? someone please enlighten me...am i missing something?

a/ she has a famous sister and
b/ she can't sing and
c/ mimes her own tunes
d/ she can make a living out of it!

Ashlee is part of that whole "young Hollywood" cool "in-crowd", like, you know, she stole Lindsay Lohan's boyfriend (although her song "I didn't steal your boyfriend" clearly denies that charge) (gee they are all just so deep and meaningful aren't they...)


Obviously what makes her so intriguing is that her publicist has enough clout (and/or money) to get her on the "25 most intriguing people" list .......!!!
