Pressure Cooker

Hi,

We just got given a Pressure Cooker as a late xmas gift and I have no idea what to cook in it? I've seen them in use before and I'm really afraid of it...... blowing up :eek:

Any ideas on what to cook in it and any tips from anyone who's used one before????

I've been told I can cook a meal in less then 15mins?

Would love to see your recipes......

hello
u can cook rice,potato,chick peas and stuff really quickly in a pressure cooker,as compared to in the microwave or boiling in a saucepan.
for each food,the cooking time is different...

I love my pressure cooker! I cook stews, pea and ham soup, chow mein and also heaps of soups!! Oh my fav is osso bucco and ox tail stew!! If your interested in any just post which one your interested in and ill give you the recipe! You can also cook roasts and heaps of yummy stuff! Did you get a recepie book with it?
